Chris is a Managing Director and Head of North American direct origination, responsible for managing the U.S. regional offices. He leads a team of six that is responsible for directly sourced assets across a variety of sectors. He is also responsible for Private Capital Investors’ third-party asset management activities.
Chris joined the firm in 2009. Previously, he was a Principal responsible for originating and executing first lien, second lien, and mezzanine financing to support private equity firms’ leveraged buyout activity at American Capital. He was also a Senior Vice President with Prudential Capital Group, spending many years as a portfolio manager in their private placement group. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1993.
Chris earned a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
